Department of Usool-ud-Din was established in 2000 to fulfill the need of scholars of Islamic Studies in various institute of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Islamic Sciences like Tafseer, Hadith, Seerah, History of Islamic Jurisprudence and Arabic are some of the courses that are being taught at the Department. Teaching and Assessment Teaching and assessment is done under the semester system as per rules of the University of Karachi. Career Opportunities Students passing out from this department are providing their services in educational institutions, research institutes, religious institutions and armed forces. Master or B.S. Degree holders can apply for any post of Grade – 17.
